Biography

Hailing from Limerick, Ireland, Nick Carswell has been a firm fixture in the US Midwest, fronting his original outfit Carswell & Hope and performing at festivals and venues around the Midwest. Joining Nick in Ceol & The Gang are his Carswell & Hope bandmates Jason Slote (drums and percussion) and Austin Quick (keyboards, accordian and bass guitar). The Ceol & The Gang line-up is completed with Shannon O’Shea blending Irish and folk traditions with her bluegrass and Americana fiddle stylings, and the amazing vocals of Katlyn Conroy (La Guerre, Cowboy Indian Bear) whose haunting and magical voice adds to the broad palette of Ceol & The Gang.
