After an exceedingly warm and cosy start in the lovely Odessa Club in Dublin last night, BPLO are gearing up for a very busy touring schedule. A couple more “warmer-uppers” in Cork and Dublin before the gang descend on a field in Stradbally at the Electric Picnic – more specifically the Mindfield area and even more precisely the Theatre Tent. There’s loads going on in this part of the festival, so be sure to swing down and say hello! The full tour dates for the Lowering The Tone album tour are as follows:
Tues 24th August – The Old Oak – Cork
Tues 31st August – The Ruby Sessions, Doyles – Dublin
3-5th September – Electric Picnic – Theatre Stage, Mindfield
EP show times; Friday 9.30pm and Sunday 7.40pm plus more impromptu appearances expected!
10th September – Dolans Warehouse – Limerick
16th September – Crawdaddy – Dublin
17th September – Tower Records, Dublin – INSTORE GIG (1pm)
17th September – Zhivago Records, Galway – INSTORE GIG (6pm)
17th September – Kelly’s – Galway
18th September – Crane Lane Theatre – Cork

8th October – The Stables – Mullingar
The Brad Pitt Light Orchestra are also confirmed to appear at this year’s Hard Working Class Heroes showcase festival which takes place in various venues around Dublin 7-9th October. Details of the slot will be announced shortly.
As ever, there are still more dates to come in, hopefully in a venue near you. The Silly Goose can barely contain it’s excitement!!
