Introducing: Carswell & Hope

After a year-long hiatus for the Silly Goose, we are launching our first US-based artist, Carswell & Hope. Hooray!

This is the first taster of the new band based in Lawrence, Kansas. Nick Carswell is the common thread to our Irish home, with Jason Slote on drums, Dan Hines (formerly of Paw) on bass and Austin Quick on keys. Carswell & Hope’s sound can be traced to multiple influences in recent rock such as Wilco, The National and Midlake. Echos of Sufjan Stevens and Sigur Ros also pervade the band’s psyche.
