MXM2014 Kicks Off! Friday May 2nd Songwriter Night in Five Bar & Tables

MXM2014 is mere days away! We are excited to get the local music scene together with the workshops, panels and live showcase. But first, a night of songs at Five Bar & Tables

As a lot of MXM2014’s day program is about the business of making music (the legal, promotion, booking, management side of things), we’ve decided to launch the event with a night focusing on the art of making music. On Friday May 2nd, some of the best local musicians and songwriters will take to the stage at Five Bar & Tables to play a couple of their best songs, and even explain a little bit about how and why they write music.
