We had an amazing time at the recent Folk Alliance International Conference & Music Fair!
Carswell & Hope had several showcases, and we enjoyed meeting folks from all over the US, as well as Canada, Ireland the UK and Scandinavia We attended panels on copyright, licensing & sync, met lots of Folk Alliance Board Members and industry professionals and even got to hear a rock’n’roll astronaut speak and play!
Then, on the Friday night, we had our Lawrence KS Live! Showcase, in association MudStomp Records, Silly Goose Records and The Farmer’s Turnpike 92.9 KMXN, with special friends Free State Brewing Company. The line up was a wide mix of Lawrence talent – and we had an awesome night. Thanks to Folk Alliance Music Fair for having us. We’re already looking forward to next year!
