   Thank you for this event. Very helpful insights for the usually socially awkward musician to be less socially awkward. But really, MXM2014 had a great panel that answered some questions that Westerners have been struggling with all winter. Look forward to applying the knowledge and doing this again next year. We finally feel like part of the Lawrence community. Thank you, Matt/Westerners

   Agreed. I especially liked the information about the importance of going up and talking to promoters, shaking hands, giving him/her your CD, and so on. Had no idea that people in the field were so ‘directly’ approachable. I got lots of great information, and really appreciate the the whole learning experience.
